GST Registration

Goods & Service Tax (GST) Registration
(Price Start at $ 31 /-)

In 2017, the central and state governments of India implemented the Goods and Services Tax (GST), an indirect tax regime that replaced several cascading taxes. It is mandatory for all enterprises to obtain GST registration if their yearly turnover exceeds Rs 20 lakhs (or Rs 10 lakhs for Northeastern and hill regions). This entails obtaining a distinct 15-digit GSTIN and electronically submitting your regular GST returns. Businesses who register for GST benefit from increased consistency, easier tax compliance, and the ability to collect input tax credits for taxes paid on business expenses. Additionally, it broadens the revenue base and improves tax transparency in India.

Benefits of Registering for Goods and Service Tax in India

  • Input Tax Credit (ITC) availability: Registered enterprises are eligible to claim the ITC for input, capital goods, and input service taxes paid. This lessens the tax cascade.
  • Tax compliance gets simpler: Unlike the other previous indirect tax regimes, the GST has a centralized registration procedure and tax filing mechanism. This makes following instructions easier.
  • Access to a fully functional online GST portal: GSTN is available to registered firms for the purposes of uploading invoices, filing returns, paying taxes, reconciling mismatches, and establishing communication with stakeholders.
  • Legal validity and reputation: Businesses that register are recognised legally as taxable organisations. The repute of the market is enhanced by this.
  • Trade between states gets easier: Registered companies can easily get an e-way bill to move goods between states without having to pay taxes at checkpoints.
  • Refund: Refund claims are processed more quickly for registered taxpayers. Refunds for zero-rated goods, inverted duty structures, and excess payments are all processed more quickly.
  • Increase market share and company reach: By registering, you can take use of input tax credits to conduct business more easily throughout India.
